Founded in Rome in 1993, the Italian cousin of Courrier International has built a reputation as a magazine of reference in a country where international news is often neglected. Along with a selection of "the best articles in the international press," Internazionale also features a number of sections edited by such high-profile writers as Israeli journalist Amira Hass, American economist Paul Kennedy and American sociologist Noam Chomsky. The magazine website offers a range of content to supplement the paper edition: summaries of articles available in the news-stand version, a daily guide to interesting reading and viewing on the web, Rob Brezsny's astrology column, tips for travelers, the magazine archives and editorial team's blogs.
