Founded in 1919 and resolutely centre-right, “The Daily” is known as Greece’s most reliable newspaper. Its open attitude towards the country’s European neighbour contributes to an objective and global outlook. Current owners brothers Giannis and Aristide Alafouzos won Kathimerini international prestige by launching an English-language edition as a supplement to the International Herald Tribune.
