Founded in Belgrade in 2006 by Petar Luković, a former journalist with the weekly Vreme and fierce opponent of Slobodan Milosevic, the e-Novine news portal aims to promote critical journalism and abolish taboos with regard to the political reality in Serbia and in neighboring countries, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
