Irish Examiner

  • City: Cork
  • Language: English
  • Circulation: 57 000

Based in Cork, the Irish Republic's second city, the Irish Examiner is the third ranked quality daily in Ireland in terms of sales after the Irish Independent and the Irish Times. Owned by the Crosbie family since it was founded in 1841, it used to be called The Cork Examiner – and many Irish people still refer to it by this name. Today, it is seeking to develop a more modern and less regional image.
