One of the oldest newspapers in Europe, the centre-right Berlingske, which was founded by the king’s printer Berling in 1749, continued to be called Berlingske Tidende ("Berling’s news") until 2011. It remains the flagship title of Berlingske Officin, which also publishes the evening daily B.T. and the weekly Weekendavisen.
