La Stampa
This is both Turin and the Fiat group’s main daily. Fiat controls 100% of La Stampa’s capital. La Stampa was born from the ashes of La Gazzetta Piemontese in 1885 and gradually changed format and has now long been a tabloid. After the second world war, a series of brilliant editors helped erase the paper’s provincial press image and turn it into one of Italy’s most important nationals.
