Die Presse
Founded in 1848 during the March Revolution and traditionally close to business circles and the Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP, Christian conservative), Die Presse is the “newspaper of the élite", as it dubs itself. The paper took its present form in the 1960s. It belongs to Styria Medien AG, a Christian media and publishing group.
