Founded by Croatia Telecom in 2003, Tportal is one of Croatia’s main sources for quality online news. Unlike many of the country’s media outlets, it avoids sensational reporting and celebrity journalism. Instead the website has built its reputation by featuring columns and blogs by some of the best writers from Croatia and neighbouring countries. An English version, Daily Tportal, is also available.
