L'Express
Modelled after Time magazine and Germany’s Spiegel, L’Express is one of France’s highest selling current affairs weeklies. Founded in 1953, it began by publishing writers of the calibre of Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, André Malraux and Françoise Sagan, earning a reputation for having an anti-colonialist and centre left slant. In the 80s, however, it swung to the right. It is owned by the Belgian group Express-Roularta.
