The explosion of the device, which the Interior Minister described as "an attack on our democracy," has prompted politicians and certain newspapers to speculate about a resurgence of left-wing terrorism. "What madness!" exclaims the alternative left-wing daily. "Someone sets off an explosive in a crowd, and the focus of the debate suddenly shifts from the injustice of the austerity plan to violence on the left. Bravo!"
