Morgan Kelly
Morgan Kelly (1963) is a Professor of Economics at University College Dublin, Ireland. An expert in medieval economy, he came to prominence nationally for having predicted in 2007 that Ireland's booming property market would crash. He was subsequently invited by the then Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, “to commit suicide”. The Irish property market crashed in 2008. His articles on Ireland’s enduring economic crisis appear in the Irish Times.
