Miron Ghiu
Miron Ghiu, who has written books about John Lennon and Ozzy Osbourne, often co-authors articles for Dilema Veche and the webzine LiterNet.ro with his father, the poet Bogdan Ghiu. A journalist intensely excited about what he calls "life online", he has taught a class entitled "From Beatles to MySpace, 50 years of Music" in Bucharest.
The sale of Pirate Bay, the largest file-sharing site in the world, and the will of certain governments – France's notably – to penalise illegal downloading, has re-opened the debate on copyright. As Romanian weekly Dilema Veche observes, all surfers are potential web delinquents.
