Bernhard Pötter is an environmental journalist and the author of several books on climate change, including Ausweg Öko-Diktatur? Wie unsere Demokratie an der Umweltkrise scheitert ("Is environmental autocracy the solution? How our democracy is foundering on the environmental crisis"). Since leaving the Tageszeitung in 2005, he has freelancing from Paris for several German-language newspapers, including Der Freitag.
