Michael Miersch
Michael Miersch (b. 1956) of Frankfurt, is a freelance journalist, author and TV documentary maker. He began at the Tageszeitung and not contributes to several German newspapers.
Each week he writes a column for the Belin daily Die Welt, in collaboration with Dirk Maxeiner. They have also jointly published several controversial works on the environment, science and German society which have sparked debate. Environmental organizations have accused them of lobbying on the part of nuclear and biotechnology industries.
