Mooted eurozone reforms should enhance the single currency’s ability to weather financial crises, but will probably deepen the European Union’s division into an inner core (the eurozone) and the rest, argues a Polish columnist. 
In the wake of the Oslo bomb attack and massacre on Utøya island, attention is focused on far-right extremist groups proliferating on the web. But their members have little in common with traditional neo-nazis and extremist conservative movements. 
When Fiat offered to relocate its Polish factory to southern Italy, it asked the workers to agree to work more. They accepted but face a major culture shock. A month later, Gazeta Wyborzca visited the Italian plant and seems puzzled by this instance of European social competition. 
The ongoing battle with the economic crisis is changing the nature of the European Union. Distanced due to measures to stabilise the single currency, countries outside the eurozone are concerned that they may become second division members of the EU.
