Robert Heusinger
Robert Heusinger (b. 1967) is a German journalist. After studying economics at the University of Saarland and in Aix-en-Provence, he joined the staff of the Börsen-Zeitung, then moved on to become stock market correspondent for Die Zeit. Since 2007 he has been deputy editor-in-chief and head of the economics department at DuMont publishers.
Germany is dragging its feet about lending money to Greece to absorb its deficit, and even threatening to expel less fiscally disciplined members from the eurozone. But the continent’s foremost economy had better keep the single currency afloat. Without the euro, Germany would be headed for disaster.
