Born in 1949, German Klaus Stuttmann studied history and history of art before embarking on a career as an independent cartoonist. His political caricatures, which have been published in several newspapers including Tagesspiegel, Tageszeitung and Leipziger Volkszeitung, have won him numerous awards.
