Bas van Lier
Bas van Lier (1961) is a Dutch freelance journalist, specialized in design. His articles frequently appear in NRC Handelsblad. After studying history in Amsterdam and Leyde, he became one of the pioneers of non-fiction book for children in the Netherlands. He has written a dozen books for children, including one on the European Union.
