Maria Malagardis
Independent French journalist Maria Malagardis regularly contributes pieces to Libération and Rue89. For many years a specialist on African news, she has covered Cameroon and Rwanda (for the daily La Croix) and spent four years working as a South African correspondent for Libération and the BBC. She is also the author of a book on the survivors of the Rwanda genocide, Rwanda, le jour d’après (“Rwanda the Day After” – Somogy 1995).
