Gianni Riotta
Gianni Riotta (b. 1954) is an Italian journalist and writer. Currently a columnist for La Stampa, he has worked as a US correspondent for the main Italian dailies, and collaborated with several American newspapers (The New York Times, The Washington Post, Foreign Policy). He has also been a director of TG1 (public TV channel RaiUno’s news programme) and the business daily Il Sole-24 Ore.
